Terms & Conditions
  • Minimum Age to Register: 17 years and 6 months old.
  • Arrival Time and Proper Decorum or Attire: Trainees must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled test. Please wear respectful clothing; no shorts or revealing clothes are allowed in the office or test. No sunglasses during training or test. No headphones or smart watches allowed during tests.
  • Travel Time Policy: The travel time for pick-up and drop-off services within UAQ will be included and deducted from the training session hours if these services are utilized.
  • Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 60 days; however, service fees are non-refundable. Government fees that have been processed or paid are also non-refundable.
  • Absences: No refunds will be issued for absences.
  • Test Failure or Re-Test: If you fail on any P-R-B or road test, it is mandatory to take a minimum of 4 classes of practical training before retaking the P-R-B or road test, with additional charges applicable. Any re-test is subject to applicable fees.
  • Government Fees for Light Vehicle: Total government fees amount to AED 942.48, which covers file opening, theory, preliminary, and road tests.
  • VAT: VAT is applicable on IDI fees.
  • License Fee: This fee must be paid after passing the road test: AED 158 for trainees under 21 years, AED 358 for those 21 years and older, and AED 250 for adding another category to an existing license.
  • Document Authenticity and Liability: Any submitted documents are the responsibility of the trainee. For a GCC license, the license needs to be surrendered or turned over to the UAQ Traffic Department. For GCC trainees, if they fail the theory test, they need to proceed with the P-R-B test.
